Casa Viviana
Doña Viviana Álvarez learned to make traditional candles from her grandmother. From a very young age, she melted the wax and poured it into molds inherited from generations of manufacturers in her family. This craft helped her support her family, in addition to designing new molds with unique shapes and innovative candle models. Over time, she founded the family workshop that she still leads today. Casa Viviana is made up of family members, children, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, and grandchildren, all dedicated to the creation of handmade candles using beeswax and natural dyes. All designs have a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artisan, to acknowledge her authorship and all the work of Doña Viviana Álvarez in innovating the traditional technique.
